Financial Aid Fraud

The intentional misuse of federal, state, institutional, or private student financial aid programs through deception, misrepresentation, identity theft, fabricated information, or other fraudulent activity. Financial aid fraud may involve schemes designed to improperly obtain grants, loans, scholarships, tuition refunds, or other educational benefits intended for legitimate students.
